More Coverage Notes: Steve Pederson Firing

Web banners from The Grand Island Independent (left) and the Lincoln Journal Star.

Omaha's KXSP (590 AM) extended "The Big Show with Matt Perrault" by an extra 30 minutes Monday night while KFAB (1110 AM) joined "Sports Nightly" for its first hour, which is normally not heard on that station.

The Horseshoe Casino Sports Soundoff on KMTV will feature a special half-hour show Monday night from 10:35 p.m. to 11, which will preempt "Late Night with David Letterman."

KMTV owes us a repeat of tonight's "Letterman" from the beginning. Why the F*** couldn't they delay it a half-hour and show the entire thing? They always did that when a B-ball game was in prime time and would run past 10PM. Time to contact CBS again...

Oh, and to WOWT...PLEASE try to arrange for "Ellen" to be encored in prime time over 620 on a regular basis if we're going to be subjected to these news interruptions.

Steve Pederson? Never heard of the guy.

black squirrel that's an excellent point now if KMTV would launch a subchannel or the locals brodcast the programming on either the Regular or HD channel or the subchannel if KMTV would launch it. We would not miss anything like network programming since they can brodcast two different channels.
