Justice Part of Chiefs' 'Nights of the Roundtable'

KMTV-3 Sports Director Travis Justice is part of this week's Kansas City Chiefs Miller Lite "Nights of the Roundtable."

The segment (which is plagued by audio problems) can be viewed on Chiefs TV on the team's homepage.

The program is hosted by Mitch Holtus, radio voice of the Chiefs. He is joined by Justice, former NFL veterans Danan Hughes and Richard Baldinger and Greg Sharpe, WIBW radio host in Topeka, Kan. The five are seen dining at Boudreaux's at Mission Farms.

Audio problems. The myopic Chiefs and Chief fans. Trav "The Tool" Justice's indepth insights. The group chowing down on the ribeye special...

wow! Must have been some real exciting radio!

Damn! I wish 590 would have carried it live because you know - we just can't get enough of the Chiefs in the Omaha market!

Hey Travis,

Since you're always sucking up to me when I'm doing all of those Missouri Valley Conference games on TV, I suppose I can throw you a bone. You want to come on my internet show? You get a free dinner. I'll try to schedule you for a really important week, how about when KC is getting ready for their important BYE week, will that work?

Mitch

3 hour drive down, 3 hour drive back, all for a hunk of steak & a shot to appear on an internet video.
How did he fit THAT into his radio/teevee schedule? Did he blow off Action 3 for a day?

He blew off the radio show at 9. Oh, dang it, that was already cancelled.

He did blow off the 4 p.m. appearance of the Perrault gab fest in all seriousness. Perrault didn't seem to notice or care. His ego kept him company.

Mitch Holtus is the Chiefs version of Jim Rose. Mitch thinks whatever Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson tell him to think. The Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the NFL and need to fire Herm Edwards yesterday.

7:22AM -

That's one of the funniest things I've read in a long time.

10:42 AM

For seemingly disliking Matt Perrault; you certainly seem to know quite a bit about his show.

who's Matt Perrault? is that the weekend guy at 3?

10:45...almost right. Matt Perrault is the afternoon radio gay.

Perrault is still on the radio? i thought sports media was a "ladies" job?

I suspect he hasn't found a new woman since his meltdown on TnT and in the Philly press.

10:45...Perrault does radio... Matt Seigel is the weekend sports anchor on 3

I guess Mitch Holthus threw Trav a bone for all those appearances on Trav's radio show spewing the swill that is Chiefs football.

In a previous post someone referred to Mitch Holthus as a Jim Rose wannabe or something like that. I think it is the other way around - don't forget... Jim Rose left Lincoln to work in KC for a couple of years and did such things as Royals pre & post game shows, so he was exposed to the football pbp mannerism of one Mitch "Chiefs Rule the Universe" Holthus.

I think the associated photo of The Tool is classic. It speaks volumes of "I've got no idea what to contribute to this little roundtable"

Matt Perrault is unintentional comedy personified. He tries so hard to sound informative and full of insight, and the only thing he's full of is crap.

Trav the Tool is a perfect complement to Perrault. If intelligence and insight were dynamite, there wouldn't be enough between the two of them to blow my nose.
