  3. Great - the World-Herald is slowly monopolizing all the newspapers in the state of Nebraska. Great for the state of journalism in this state...LOL.

  8. 11:39 -- obviously, the subtle art of sarcasm isn't something you grasp easily. The OWH is monopolizing newspapers in this state and driving good journalism out of the state.

  10. Enough about the OWH. They're not going anywhere, they're positioning themselves for the future and most complainers are either ex-employees (see subtle bitter commentary in the original post), so deal with it.

Back to the important stuff. When are Perrault and Travis taking that gig on Sporting News radio?

  12. The OWH may want to watch out - The City Weekly is annexing website addresses to take over the internet with different versions of this blog. The MINGE empire!

It is the mission of the City Weekly to spread the word to the world about Matt Perrault!

  15. Pity to GI Independent readers if the Weird Herald does to them what they do to another OWH owned paper, Krny Flub. There is hardly any national news in the Krny paper...just local. If you wanna kill a couple mins, read the Flub. I'm guessin OWH has the same plans for the GI paper. That way, they can let the in-town papers handle the local stuff. There will be still enough of a void for national news and Husker news, the locals will feel the need to buy the Weird Herald.
