Why does the OWH website never work? Every time I try to click on a link or type Omaha.com, the site will never open? And you wonder why the papers are going broke.
Omaha.com get it together. Your video solution is horrible. Quicktime? Seriously? Random videos that run on and on? Here is a thought. Try shooting some video that you can use WITH an article. Embed the flash player in the body. Better yet, just go to LincolnJournalStar.com and steal all their ideas.
Trust me, it is not my computer. Whenever I want to check the OWH website before bed, it rarely pulls up for me until after midnight. It's not that hard to type omaha.com, it will just keep loading and loading and finally say error.
I've seen other people complain about it as well. So I don't think it's the "user" that has a problem here. It is literally the only website that I know of that does this when I try to pull it up from time to time...it seems to be only at night though.
KETV has a new morning wreck reporter....what ever happened to the voice they called J.T.? How come J.T. never got the chance to show his mug on tv? Wreck reporters/ traffic guides...whatever you want to call them, are a waste of time, money and have a six-month time span.
Weird Harold? Who's writing that, J-Dub (based on originality or lack thereof) or Bill Cosby? This site is a train wreck; how do you go from crappy wannabe circus performers as the topic and turn it into a diatribe on some ditwad who can't operate a Pentium 486? Welcome to Short Attention Span Theatre - wait, some of the Press Club bozos might want to act in that one too.
Horatio Caine said "...some ditwad who can't operate a Pentium 486?"
Hmmm... a "Pentium 486"??? What "ditwad" doesn't have a frickin' clue about computer chip naming conventions?
There's no such thing as a "Pentium 486". Between development of the 486 and 586, Intel (the maker of the 486 and Pentium) lost a court case that the "x86" line of processors was trademarked. Since "586" could no longer be exclusively used by Intel, they kept the "5" part of the "x86" and called it the Pentium chip. Then they stuck with the Pentium trademark for a few iterations: Pentium II = 686, Pentium III = 786, etc.
It's 10pm on Sunday night. My watch for the return of Farah Fazal resumes. After some news and weather, there she is!!
She's interviewing a 23-year-old DJ who can't get enough of vinyl LPs. My notes don't contain his name. Was it T-Pain, or maybe T-Rex? Nevermind, that's a digression. At the end of the story, we see Farah assisting the DJ. She's scratchin' to his beat (no, get your mind out of the gutter. She's working one turntable, he's working the other.) Even Rob and Brandi were impressed with her scratchin' skills.
WOWT, you better watch out!!! Looks like Farah's one-up'd Mr. Knicely's "John at Work" series...

If this is true who's gonna be left to be a member of the Omaha Press Club?
To the Geek - I think everyone realizes it was a goof, referring to how old his computer was (maybe one the cavemen used, ha ha). Thanks for continuing to give Geeks a bad name with that foot-stomper, you sounded just like Comic Book guy on the Simpsons. Techy geek who can't take/doesn't get jokes outside of their monitor. You may now return to your Aquaman comic books.
9:19 -- I believe you have just proven, once and for all, that you are the foremost expert on ditwads, which comes as no surprise...you see one every day when you look in the mirror.
That's because the recall people know they aren't going to get the signatures they need, so they don't want to be embarrassed when it is discovered they are a very vocal, and shallow-thinking, minority.
5:47 PM - What's your obsession with the traffic dweeb (I'd use ditwad, but that might derail this so-focused blog) on KETV? The way you're acting you'd think recall petition votes weren't being followed close enough. Uh, wait, another turn off the cliff. Either way, lighten up on the traffic reader - call KETV if you need a bio.
10:05 AM - You almost got me, what a letdown THAT would have been.

shameless website promotion...
yea...click on the video link(s): and voila! there's nothing!
ReplyDeleteNice website! It would be in 42's best interest to NOT promote it
Self-absorbed drech. This one was the worst:
ReplyDeleteAnd the chorus followed: "It is an itsy bitsy teenie weenie tiny Rosenblatt arena. Much too old for the series to play."
When did Rosenblatt turn into an arena? Venue I could buy, but arena? It's not funny when you have to cram in wrong words.
Just proves these people all think they're so cute, but no one outide of the state line knows or cares who they are. Yuck.
I got on the OWH website today with no problems. The problem may be with your computer...in fact, it IS your computer that the problem.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe the user...

ReplyDeleteCongrats, moron...LOL.
Fahey's recall votes totals are not being announced until d-day. WHY?!?!?! A countdown to watching him clean out his office would be nice.
ReplyDeleteThat's because the recall people know they aren't going to get the signatures they need, so they don't want to be embarrassed when it is discovered they are a very vocal, and shallow-thinking, minority.
ReplyDeleteWow, here I didn't even know "ditwad" was a word and I find out that there are experts in "ditwads" !!
ReplyDelete7:31 -- they're easy to spot. Usually, they're also experts in Pentium chip configuration...
ReplyDeleteWasn't Pentium a charachter in the movie The Matrix??
ReplyDeleteCan someone post a new link to the review? That link leads a page that reads: " Story no longer available."
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke.
Matt Perrault is NOT, I repeat NOT gay.
